Tank Stars offers approachable turn-based artillery battles with dramatic weapons and simple aiming. Landing a calculated shot is satisfying, but upgrades, advertisements, and uneven weapon power often matter as much as careful trajectory planning.

Tank Stars condenses the classic artillery duel into short one-on-one battles. On each turn, a tank can adjust position, select a weapon, aim, and fire. Terrain and distance shape the shot, while many weapons split, drill, burn, or strike from above.

Learning how each projectile travels is more important than simply pointing at the opponent. The controls make experimentation easy. A missed shot provides immediate information about angle and power, and the next turn becomes a small correction problem.

Different tanks and weapon sets encourage varied tactics, from reliable direct damage to attacks that punish cover. Solo battles offer quick practice, while multiplayer adds less predictable positioning. Progression complicates the clean artillery idea.

Tank and weapon upgrades influence damage, and the economy encourages repeated rewards, ads, and purchases. At the start of a turn, move within the available range if a better firing position is needed. Select a weapon, drag the aiming control to set direction and power, then release to fire. Watch the complete projectile path so the next shot can correct for being too high, low, strong, or weak.

Direct-fire weapons are easiest on open terrain. Arcing or descending attacks are better when the opponent is behind cover. Multi-part weapons may need the first projectile to land slightly away from the target so later impacts connect.

Preserve limited high-damage ammunition for a clear opportunity rather than testing it blindly. Avoid moving into pits or positions that restrict the barrel angle. When close to an opponent, account for blast damage that may also hit your own tank.

Upgrade a small selection of dependable tanks and weapons before investing broadly. Against AI, use early turns to learn distance; against another player, change position when possible so they cannot repeat the same successful angle.
