Develop a small number of commander pairs with compatible troop types and roles. Do not spend universal legendary sculptures on every new commander; verify long-term usefulness first.

Scout the map, gather safely, and preserve action points for valuable events. In combat, watch hospital capacity and retreat before losses become economically destructive. Reinforce rallies or structures only when leadership requests the correct troop type.
