Genshin Impact offers a generous open world, strong elemental combat, and lavish presentation for free. The adventure is easy to recommend, but character acquisition, daily resource limits, and late-game artifact farming require realistic expectations.

Genshin Impact makes a strong first impression with scale rather than complexity. Teyvat is built for wandering: cliffs can be climbed, rivers crossed, and distant landmarks reached by gliding. Exploration constantly feeds the next activity through chests, puzzles, quests, bosses, and materials.

The story begins as a search for the Traveler's missing sibling, then expands into regional conflicts and a large cast of character chapters. Combat is where the game distinguishes itself from a typical open-world RPG. A party contains four characters who can be switched during battle.

Applying elements in sequence creates reactions such as Vaporize, Freeze, Electro-Charged, or Bloom, so a well-built team is about interaction rather than four individually strong units. This remains engaging even when ordinary enemies become familiar. The free story and exploration content are substantial, but progression has several pressure points.

Wishes use a gacha system for characters and weapons. Original Resin limits how quickly certain upgrade materials and artifacts can be farmed, and late-game artifact stats involve considerable randomness. The large install size and demanding mobile performance also deserve attention.

Players who enjoy exploration and can accept gradual account building will find an unusually rich free RPG. Anyone prone to chasing limited characters should set firm spending rules before opening the Wish menu.

Follow the early Archon quests until the main systems and a basic party are unlocked, but activate Statues of The Seven and Teleport Waypoints whenever you pass them. Explore for chests, local materials, puzzles, and Adventure EXP. Increasing Adventure Rank opens features and raises World Level, which improves rewards but also strengthens enemies.

Build a party around elemental reactions and clear roles. A practical early team usually includes a main damage dealer, elemental support, healing or shielding, and another character who helps reactions or exploration. Level characters, weapons, talents, and useful artifacts in that order rather than raising everyone at once.

Keep enough materials ready before a World Level increase. Primogems can be converted into wishes, but limited character and weapon banners use separate rules and histories. Read the current banner details before spending and avoid using Primogems on the standard banner unless you understand the trade-off.

Spend Original Resin on materials you currently need, complete daily activities when they remain enjoyable, and do not treat every temporary event as mandatory.
